Hive Group has an exciting opportunity for an Outreach Associate to join our existing team supporting the client Program Management Office. This position will provide operational research and analysis, strategic marketing, stakeholder outreach, communication support, and process improvement support to a Federal Government contracting activity. The position will work closely with the program manager and senior client program office officials to monitor market trends of federal acquisition to provide outreach support at trade shows, events, and other industry engagements across the United States. Hive Group is seeking individuals that are energetic, forward thinking, with excellent communication skills, ability to be productive with minimal direction, and willing to travel approximately 35-45% of the year.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels. At Hive Group, salary decisions are influenced by several factors, including but not limited to the role, location, and the combination of education, training, skills, certifications, competencies, and relevant work experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build and execute Business Development strategies that can support the operational and growth goals of the GSA AAS Organization.
- Serve as part of the outreach team and represent GSA AAS client(s) at trade shows/conferences across CONUS through exhibiting which involves proactively approaching show attendees and educating them on the client’s mission and value proposition, answering questions, building relationships with industry and government stakeholders.
- Research and educate external stakeholders on the value proposition of GSA AAS, a fee for service contracting activity. Assist with the preparation of materials for conferences. Actively articulate the brand and key differentiators. Increase client’s presence within the marketplace.
- Support Outreach efforts by working with creative teams to create optimal industry show materials and messaging.
- Work with trade show organizers to register and plan for events by researching and making recommendations to leadership on which events would be best to attend.
- Organize and execute logistics associated with conference exhibits including; shipping, exhibit booth management, and booth setup/teardown.
Qualifications:
- Education: Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in related fields such as Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, etc.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Business Development field
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance
