Job Summary

Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and multiple award-winning organization, delivers innovative solutions to address complex, mission critical program challenges for the federal government. We are seeking Business Process Analysts (I & II) to join our dynamic team.  

This role requires the ability to be onsite up to three (3) days per week in the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities: 

  • Apply process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles, approaches, and methodologies that lead to increased efficiency or effectiveness in financial and operations management
  • Experienced in assessing process performance in complex environments, involving linkages between financial, staffing, and other support processes, and operational processes and outcomes.
  • Proficient in disciplines, approaches, tools, and techniques relevant to process assessment, including Continuous Process Improvement, Six Sigma, process modeling, architecture analysis, transaction flow analysis, internal controls and risk analysis, quality assurance, strategic planning, and organizational change management.
  • Supports coordination between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Facilitates meetings to assist management in the development of clear statements of quantifiable goals, objectives, requirements, and metrics.
  • Directs requirement collection and refinement efforts, to include interviews, surveys, working sessions and focus group studies.
  • Ensures proposed process improvements align to strategic objectives, and initiatives are compliant with appropriate policies, rules and regulations.
  • Experienced in developing realistic and practical implementation plans.
  • Conducts organizational studies and evaluations; conducts simplification and measurement studies; and prepares operations, training, and procedural manuals to assist management in implementing ways to operate more efficiently and effectively.
  • Familiar with developing and interpreting cost analysis, budget plans, and developing and presenting briefings to senior management.
  • Provides support for the design and implementation of new or enhancements to business processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in one of the functional areas or related disciplines included in the list of responsibilities 
  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding 
  • Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Nine (9) or more years of professional experience
  • Active CBP BI or reciprocity strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting DHS or other federal agencies to deliver financial operations or analysis

Compensation and Benefits 

The estimated compensation range for this position is between $90,000 and $103,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels. At Hive Group, salary decisions are influenced by several factors, including but not limited to the role, location, and the combination of education, training, skills, certifications, competencies, and relevant work experience.
