Job Summary
Hive Group is seeking a technical consultant to provide technical support to our Federal government customers. This individual will work directly with clients to understand key elements of client business processes and then work onsite to implement and operate software products and service offerings by performing key tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design, testing, and deployment of system integration points
- Provides technical direction and guidance in the design and integration of enterprise business solutions
- Supports technical progress reviews and project schedule inputs
- Authors technical documentation, such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Interface Control Documents (ICD), Detailed Functional Designs (DFD), and Architecture Diagrams
- Coordinates and directs COTS tool interfaces throughout the project lifecycle
- Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of program, technical and functional areas
- Coordinates and establishes interrelationships between multiple and related technologies and/or programs within an enterprise
- Creates application and database SQL reports in coordination with key stakeholders
- Automate report generation using scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with external contractors on the PRISM COTS product to facilitate data exchange, understand their requirements, and propose optimized data solutions.
- Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create insightful dashboards and reports that inform business decisions.
- Support end-users with training and technical assistance on integrated systems and data reporting tools ensuring users can effectively utilize data for decision-making.
- Address critical issues in application architecture, to include functional and technical designs
- Provides technical troubleshooting to support application and operating systems
- Recommends innovative solutions to gaps
- Coordinates and reviews work of assigned staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in providing customer support consulting environment which requires a high degree of technical competence
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four years in implementing and/or maintaining an enterprise systems interface
- Advanced skills and systems development knowledge of a COTS tool technical architecture to include business process and functional capabilities
- Demonstrated skills in using integration techniques and technologies including web service protocols and languages including SOAP-based XML, application programmatic interfaces (APIs), service-oriented architecture, database information exchange
- Experience in Oracle DBMS and Oracle-based SQL
- Experience in Linux and Windows Server operating systems, including command line interfaces (CLI)
- Experience in effectively leading technical review meetings, creating and presenting briefs
- Experience applying COTS product knowledge to provide technical and system design guidance to the application development team
- Experience leading or supporting business application specialists and integration analysts in the implementation of software designs, configurations, and system testing (preferred)
- Knowledge of ERP software architectures, such as Momentum, PeopleSoft, etc. (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Qualified candidates will need to be able to commute to and move/traverse throughout the work facility.
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $155,000 to $175,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Springfield metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels.
