Reconciliation Specialist
Job Summary
Hive Group is currently seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support and “Contract and Compliance Reporting for one of our private Industry clients. The ideal candidates will have a great attitude, a keen eye for detail, and willing to think “outside the box” in a fast-paced environment. Experience with government contracts and/or government finance is highly desired. Candidates will provide support to the following workstreams, but not limited to: contract closeout, contract deliverable reviews, electronic contract file audits, funds traceability from sponsor to invoice.
Position Description:
- Support post-award contract management and contract closeout functions
- Interface with corporate business functional teams and program managers for obtaining necessary information
- Ensure process/checklists for all phases of the close-out period are completed appropriately
- Review company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all company and government regulations
- Add information and update database, spreadsheets and systems related to contract closeout actions
- Support special projects or initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 4 + years of contracts experience in a federal contracting environment with financial management or procurement experience
- Bachelor’s degree or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with different contract types: FFP, T&M, and some Cost Plus
- Government Contracting experience is desired
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications; intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and provide excellent customer support
- Ability to multitask; prioritize and manage a large range of responsibilities independently
