Acquisition Quality Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct organizational audits of contract files to ensure pre- and post-award acquisition quality
- Collect data and provide analysis on acquisition and strategic performance metrics
- Provide review, analysis, and recommendations for improvement for customer directed reviews and audit initiatives
- Work with team members to develop, implement, and correct solutions related to a large Program Management Office
- Recommend and draft oversight and management processes to assess organizational performance and compliance with regulation and policy
- Identify areas of risk requiring management attention and mitigations for those risks to assist in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the acquisition process
- Analyze audit reports conducted by external agencies and assist the customer in the development of official positions and resolution of findings
- Consolidate trends and recommend best practices from audit reviews
- Collect best practices identified from internal reviews and display best practices on the internal
- Maintain audit working papers including preparation of schedules, summaries, and reports to include metrics and action items
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related; May substitute education with equivalent amount of work experience in an audit related role
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in contract or project management
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Government Contracts Experience Required
- Certifications related to federal acquisition or contracting are preferred
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels.
