Position Title: Information Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.

The Senior ISSO leads security operations and compliance activities across classified systems, serving as a subject matter expert for authorization, risk management, and security posture improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cybersecurity compliance lifecycle for multiple systems under RMF.
  • Develop and maintain SSPs, incident response plans, and vulnerability reports.
  • Lead security audits and ensure readiness for inspections and accreditations.
  • Collaborate with ISSMs, engineers, and mission owners to address system risks.
  • Conduct security awareness training and enforce security procedures.
  • Advise leadership on changes to policy, controls, and security architecture.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting classified IT systems and RMF processes.
  • Expertise in system accreditation, risk management, and audit remediation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
