Hive Group is seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager (PM) to oversee all activities performed under a federal government contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The PM will serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and other designated TSA personnel, ensuring smooth management and successful execution of all contract requirements.
The PM must demonstrate a strong track record of leadership, operational oversight, and strategic planning in the federal government sector. The PM is expected to perform all functional duties independently while managing diverse responsibilities effectively.
This is a hybrid role with locations in Springfield, VA and Arlington, VA.

Compensation and Benefits
The estimated compensation range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for the COR and TSA personnel regarding all contract related matters.
- Designate an alternate in writing to the COR who will act on behalf of the PM during any absences, ensuring seamless communication and continuity.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate operations to meet or exceed performance expectations.
- Formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the effective use of resources, including materials and personnel.
- Oversee compliance with federal government regulations, contract terms, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
- Manage the planning and execution of tasks across functional areas that are too diverse to be classified under a single category, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.
- Prepare and submit reports and documentation as required by the contract and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of relevant project management experience within the federal government sector.
- Minimum of a BA/BS or MA/MS degree in a related field.
- Proven ability to perform all functional duties independently, demonstrating strategic leadership and operational excellence.
- Strong expertise in formulating policies, managing daily operations, and optimizing resource utilization in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Active DHS clearance preferred.
