Position Overview
The Project Manager (Communications & Management) will serve as a communications strategist and management advisor to TSA leadership, ensuring consistent, effective, and timely messaging to internal and external stakeholders. This role will manage high-visibility communications for oversight agencies, congressional inquiries, and DHS leadership, while also supporting TSA's strategic management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver communications strategies supporting TSA’s mission and priorities.
- Draft responses to oversight agency inquiries, including OMB, DHS, and Congress.
- Prepare executive briefings, reports, and talking points for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate testing and program data into clear, actionable messaging.
- Support change management initiatives related to process and capability enhancements.
- Coordinate communications across multiple TSA branches to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of communications and management consulting experience in a federal environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and strategic messaging skills.
- Proven ability to engage with senior federal leadership and external oversight bodies.
- Experience with DHS/TSA programs strongly preferred.
