Mission/Technical Functional Area Expert 
Location: Hanover, MD
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Position Overview:

Join a collaborative and mission-driven team where your contributions directly support the Army’s readiness and modernization goals.

The Mission/Technical Functional Area Expert provides subject matter expertise in specialized technical areas relevant to the supported mission. This role supports analysis, requirements development, and technical advising to enable successful planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional and technical expertise in a defined mission domain.
  • Advise program management and engineering teams on best practices and risk mitigation.
  • Translate mission needs into technical requirements and solutions.
  • Support the preparation of white papers, evaluations, and performance assessments.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience supporting DoD or IC programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting classified missions and technical teams.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
